Matthew co-founded InScope-AML in 2017 with a clear goal: help organisations move away from manual, fragmented AML processes and towards a more structured, technology-driven approach.
With 20+ years in software development, he focuses on building tools that improve how compliance teams capture data, run checks and apply risk consistently.
He believes that better AML processes don’t just improve efficiency, they play a key role in tackling organised crime.
Victor Rizzo
Director & Co-Founder
Victor brings nearly 50 years of experience in banking, having started his career with Barclays Bank International in 1975 and later serving as Non-Executive Director at Lidion Bank plc.
His deep understanding of financial services, governance and regulatory expectations shapes InScope-AML’s direction and keeps the product grounded in real-world compliance practice.

Alongside his role at InScope-AML, he is a Director at Cleverbit, where he works with technology businesses to scale operations and deliver meaningful change. Simon Azzopardi
Director
Simon has founded and scaled multiple businesses across insurance, banking, gaming and enterprise software in both the EU and the United States. He is also a Director at Cleverbit and serves as a Non-Executive Director at banking institutions in Malta and Belgium, where he holds direct responsibility for compliance. With 15+ years building technology products for regulated markets, Simon brings a strong product and strategic perspective to InScope-AML.
